2019 Ford Mustang: Continuing a Tradition of Power and Style

The Ford Mustang remains one of the most popular sports cars in America. It's easy to see why drivers in the area gravitate toward this modern classic -- V8 and turbocharged power, timeless styling, and a focus on driving enjoyment draw in enthusiasts.

Retro styling and modern engineering go hand-in-hand with the 2019 Mustang. Whether you choose a hardtop or a drop-top, you'll get a two-door sports car that looks as great as it drives.

Classic Cues: Several of the styling elements in the new Mustang point to those of the original mid-60s model. Horizontal headlamps, a long hood, and taillamps with vertical lines hark to mid-century pony car design.

Fastback: This hardtop body style offers a classic look. The sloped roofline makes for a crouched, athletic profile.

Convertible: The Mustang convertible is for drivers who like to enjoy fresh air and sunshine while behind the wheel. You can drop the top in seconds if the mood strikes.

The 2019 Mustang truly offers exciting performance in every model available. Powerful engines and focused engineering have made the new Mustang one of the most engaging vehicles available today.

Engines: The new Mustang has a few engine options to choose from. The base 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder uses turbocharging to achieve 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Mustang GT models get a 5.0-liter V8 with 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Mustang Shelby GT350 gets a flat-plane crank V8 with 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque.

Transmissions: The standard gearbox for the new Mustang is a six-speed manual. It's perfect for enthusiasts who like to row through gears. A ten-speed automatic transmission is also available.

Chassis: For decades, the Mustang used a solid-axle design. A few years ago, however, Ford switched to an independent suspension setup that has helped improve handling. As ever, the 2019 Mustang comes in rear-wheel drive only.

Drive Modes: These selectable parameters let you tailor your Mustang's performance to the situation at hand. Modes include Normal, Sport, Track, Drag Strip, and Snow/Wet.

The new Mustang may have retro, but its available technology features are purely modern.

Media: Take advantage of available SYNC 3 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility.

Audio: The new Mustang offers an available B&O™ Premium Sound system that equips the car with 12 speakers.

Connectivity: Available FordPass Connect equips your Mustang with wi-fi hotspot capability.
