Giving Week 2023
DeNooyer Automotive Family is proud to support the greater Kalamazoo and Marshall, Michigan areas through its annual Giving Week event. This year, employees from all five stores came together to raise money for a variety of local organizations.
From department raffles and cornhole tournaments to donation drives and more, employees were creative in their efforts to give back to the community. Representatives from each organization stopped in throughout the week to tell employees more about their work and how the donated dollars would be used.
Here is a look at some of the ways DeNooyer Automotive Family employees raised money during Giving Week:
- Department raffles: Each department held a raffle for a variety of prizes, including gift cards, PTO, fun experiences and more. All proceeds from the raffles went to one of the chosen organizations.
- Cornhole tournament: Employees competed in a cornhole tournament for the chance to win the coveted cornhole trophy and raise money for charity.
- Donation drives: Employees collected donations of food and personal care items for local organizations.
- Chili cook-off: Employees cooked and sold tickets to taste and vote on the best chili to raise money for charity.
- Jeans day: Employees paid a small fee to wear jeans to work on a designated day, with the proceeds going to local organizations.
Thanks to the generosity of employees, DeNooyer Automotive Family was able to raise more than ever for local charities during Giving Week. The money will be distributed to multiple organizations to help the community.
